Change. Heal. Grow.

We are sitting in our home office today listening to beautiful music, all caught up on our work, with Greta at our feet, thinking of the events of last week. The safety we feel at this moment is quite meaningful, as we know that life can change in an instant. It has for us on past days, and we’re pretty sure you all can relate to that experience. Each day seems the same . . . until something happens and it is never the same again. For better or worse, it is never the same.

How each of us responds to a given event depends on a lot of different factors. Maturity, past hurts and traumas, AND our personality type. That is why we think it is extremely important that each of us understands our Enneagram type. It teaches us about our behavior when we are healthy and when we are unhealthy as well, showing specifically that we are NEVER STUCK with our current behavior and responses to life. 

We can change. We can heal. We can grow . . . and we can let go of anger and regret. 

One common trait we see in all the news clips of the events at the US Capitol last week is fear. Fear of losing an election, fear of losing life as we know it, and fear of what those in power will do next. No matter on which side of the aisle you may be, one thing is for sure, we all act differently when we are healthy and feel safe than when we are in fear - of a situation or the future. Yet, we don’t have to hang on to our fear. We can recognize our unhealthy traits and do the inner work to change, heal, and grow into a peaceful, joyful existence. 

We are here to walk alongside you . . . and it is our privilege and our joy!
