Finally . . . A Book Club!
Hello Friends!
Are you ready for winter? We’d better be because our first snow has already arrived! Brrrrr . . . only 12 degrees on our morning walk today.
We have been busy planning 2021. What courses do we want to offer? What new groups are we ready to start?
Over the next few weeks we will be sharing our decisions – and it already looks like 2021 is going to be another year filled with teaching and learning.
Today, we have TWO ANNOUNCEMENTS:
First . . .
We have decided to launch an exclusive Facebook group for past and present clients and workshop attendees ONLY. This will be different from the Facebook page we have about our coaching business. This group will be the hub for all our courses, meetings, and announcements. It will also allow for more PRIVACY for us and for YOU when you make comments or ask questions.
Again, this Facebook group is for past and present clients ONLY. Please contact us personally if you want to be included.
Second, we are finally going to do it . . .
We’ve talked about it FOR YEARS and in 2021 we are actually going to do it! Our very first book club! – We put a lot into our choice: Brené Brown’s The Gifts of Imperfection.
We have both read and worked through this book a number of times since it first came out a decade ago. It’s a great resource because it shares very powerful ideas AND it doesn’t take very long to read.
Brené just released the 10th Anniversary Edition and that is the version we will be using.
Our book club is going to meet once a month for the entire year – focusing on one “Gift” at a time.
If you don’t have much time to read, you will be happy with this selection.
If you want to slowly but surely look at different areas of your life and experience self-acceptance and healing, you will be happy with this selection.
If you want to join with others and share in a meaningful way and learn something new together, you will be happy with this selection.
If you want to truly make some changes and deeper friendships in the new year, you will be happy with this selection.
Our first meeting will be SUNDAY, JANUARY 17, 2021, from 1 to 2PM. The tuition is $10. We will meet each month on the THIRD SUNDAY at that same time.
You do not have to purchase the book before the first meeting. Additionally, you are welcome to come to the first meeting, check it out, and decided whether or not this will be for you.
We’d love to have you join us!
